I have worked in broadcast television for 22 years as a Video Photographer/Editor/Producer. This includes 12 years at KIRO-TV, the CBS affiliate in Seattle. My experience covers ENG, EFP, documentary and sports coverage. I was the main Sports Shooter at KIRO from 1989 through 2000.
In May of 2000 I stepped into the world of Freelance Video Production. I started my own Company called "FAT CAT VDO". Named in honor of Fred, my cat. "VDO" is phonetic for "Video" because cats can't spell.
FCV is a total video production service. Along with a full EFP support package that is anchored by my Sony BVWD600WS Betacam, I now include the Sony HVR-V1U 1080p HDV Camcorder. Both come with tape and hard drive acquisition modes. I also offer my experience in news and sports coverage, documentary and live location production and add corporate and web video production. And my experience and relationship with many of the finest freelancers in the business allows me to put together the best crew to meet the demands of the production and the needs of the client.
Please take some time to explore this web site and see what "FAT CAT VDO" is all about. Check out the Equipment page to see a complete gear list or the Services page to see what else FCV offers. And you can check out Fred in the Photo Gallery.
